Our CSR policy for responsible e-learning

At Pimenko, expert in e-learning solutions and OpenSource LMS platform, we place sustainable development and CSR at the heart of our strategy. Our commitment is to create a positive impact on the environment and society, while innovating in the field of digital training.

Our vision of sustainable and responsible e-learning

Pimenko is committed to being a responsible player in the e-learning sector, minimizing our ecological footprint and maximizing our positive social impact.

Our commitments to eco-responsible e-learning

46 t CO2, that’s Pimenko’s GHG footprint. We are aiming for a 39% reduction in our emissions with the actions prioritized and modeled for 2030 (and at a constant volume of activity). In addition, we have developed a broader CSR policy.

Reducing the carbon footprint of our e-learning activities

  • We have carried out our first carbon audit and are committed to updating it every 2 or 3 years.
  • We have set a target of reducing our GHG emissions by 39% by 2030, compared with 2023.
  • We seek to optimize our digital infrastructures and IT equipment by reducing the number of servers and extending the lifespan of hardware. This means buying reconditioned equipment (80% reconditioned for new computers by 2026).

Digital Responsibility

  • Eco-design of our online training courses to reduce their weight and energy consumption.
  • Training our teams in responsible digital practices.
  • Optimization of media use in our services (compression, adapted formats).
  • Integrating digital accessibility right from the start of projects

Responsible purchasing

  • Integrating environmental and social criteria into our purchasing policy.
  • Involvement of our suppliers and partners in our sustainability approach.

Sustainable mobility

  • Implementation of a business travel policy favoring low-carbon modes of transport.
  • Encourage teleworking and remote meetings where appropriate.

Responsible nutrition

  • Raising employee awareness of sustainable food issues.
  • Promotion of vegetarian meals at company events.
  • Sustainable solutions (water bottles, water fountains) to reduce plastic waste.

Diversity, equity and inclusion

  • Promoting equal opportunity and diversity within our teams. We comply with the 6% OETH employee rate, even though we are not yet legally obliged to do so.
  • Equal pay: annual pay audit to ensure pay equity between genders and groups.
  • Diversity training: awareness-raising sessions for all employees on discrimination and inclusion.

Work-life balance

  • Flexible working hours: flexible working hours enabling employees to adapt their working hours to their personal constraints.
  • Telecommuting: generalized telecommuting policy for all employees (minimum 70% telecommuting)
  • Voluntary part-time work: employees can reduce their working hours without any impact on their career development.

Governance and monitoring

We set up indicators to monitor our progress. At Pimenko, we are convinced that our commitment to sustainable development is not only a responsibility, but also an opportunity for innovation and the creation of shared value.

We invite all our employees, customers and partners to join us in this approach, so that together we can build a more sustainable future.”
