In early October, Moodle HQ brought together its international network of Certified Partners in Barcelona for the annual Moodle Partner Awards ceremony. Pimenko received the “Newcomer of the Year” Global Award from Scott Anderberg, CEO of Moodle.
This is one of three Global Awards presented each year across a network of more than 140 Moodle Certified Partners worldwide. It recognises a new partner — active in the network for less than two years — that has already established itself internationally through the quality and scale of its work.
What this award means
Pimenko became a Moodle Certified Partner in March 2025. Eighteen months later, this recognition from Moodle HQ reflects something we have always believed: digital learning works when it is built by people who genuinely master the technical, pedagogical, and content production sides of the craft. Not one or the other, all three.
Our clients come to us to deploy and maintain Moodle platforms, design learning programmes, produce educational videos and media, and support their teams through digital transformation. It is that combination — and the team behind it — that is being recognised here.
A significant week in Barcelona
We attended MoodleMoot Europe 2026 as a Gold Sponsor, giving us the opportunity to connect directly with the international Moodle contributor community, network partners, and the Moodle HQ teams we work alongside every day.
Clément Prudhomme and Minh Hanh Nguyen presented a session on a topic close to our hearts: “Moodle 5.3 and AI: Innovating Without Losing Control”. Our position: in an LMS, decisions about AI — who has access, on what data, within what boundaries — must remain in the hands of the institution, not the vendor. The session drew a full room and a real conversation.

The Moodle community is real. That becomes clearest when you are in a room in Barcelona with people solving the same problems you are, from very different contexts. To those we did not get to see this year — we look forward to crossing paths again soon.
