Our Process for Developing Custom Moodle Plugins

  1. Scoping (1 to 2 weeks). Support from our sales team and workshop staff, along with our Moodle experts. First, we check to see if any existing plugins already meet your needs: among the more than 2,000 plugins in the Moodle ecosystem, a solution may already exist.
  2. Specifications and quotes. You will receive a document describing each feature, the mockups, and a detailed cost estimate.
  3. Sprint-based development. Interim deliveries to a test platform for ongoing validation.
  4. Recipe development and production launch. Testing on your version of Moodle, verifying compatibility with your other plugins, and then deployment.
  5. Maintenance and publication. Updated with every major release of Moodle. If you’d like, we can publish the plugin on moodle.org so the community can benefit from it, just as we did with AdminPreset.
